With over 30 years of experience in the tool and die industry, Ty Deveau is the driving force behind DTM’s success. Ty’s passion for continuous improvement and innovation has been instrumental in the company’s growth. Since becoming an owner in 2011, Ty has ocused on building strong relationships with customers and leading the company with integrity and vision.

Ty’s commitment to ongoing education ensures that DTM stays at the forefront of industry advancements. His leadership has enabled DTM to expand its capabilities, invest in new technologies, and take on increasingly complex projects.

Adam Shipe

PROJECT MANAGER

Adam Shipe brings over 15 years of industry experience to his role as project manager at DTM. Adam’s extensive background in tool and die, combined with his hands-on experience in machining, programming, designing, and scheduling, makes him an invaluable asset to the team.

Adam’s ability to manage projects from start to finish ensures that every client receives the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Our story

DTM was founded in 1990, when the original owner started the company in his garage, equipped with a few old machines and a passion for crafting high-quality molds. By 1996, the company had expanded, and we moved to our current, more spacious location. This relocation marked a significant milestone in our growth, allowing us to take on larger and more complex projects.

Since then, we’ve expanded even further to meet the growing needs of the company and our clients. We added a building for cold storage in 2013, and expanded again in 2020 for additional manufacturing space.

In 1997, Ty Deveau joined DTM, bringing with him a vision for innovation and growth. Over the years, DTM has steadily grown, both in terms of capabilities, machining equipment, and personnel. By 2016, Ty had bought out the original owner, a goal he had worked towards since 2011.

Today, DTM is a thriving precision machine shop with 11 employees dedicated to delivering top- tier solutions to our clients, including a full-time engineer, designer, project manager, and a team of skilled machinists. With 120+ years of combined experience, our team is committed to continuous learning and improvement, staying up-to-date with Solidworks, CAD/CAM software, and specialized equipment training.
